Weekly Market Commentary 01/22/2016

It was another tumultuous week for the financial markets, with stocks taking a roller-coaster ride and bond yields doing the same. It was also more of the same for the catalysts underpinning the gyrations, most notably volatile oil prices and uncertainty over China. After plunging to below $28 a barrel early in the week, crude quotes rebounded by Friday, closing slightly above $32 a barrel.
