Infrastructure Investment & Jobs Act: Patching Potholes

November 22, 2021 — Last Monday, President Biden signed into law the $1.2 trillion Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act (IIJA), which includes $550 billion of funding for municipalities to upgrade aging infrastructure. While certainly historic, the bill will only make a dent in the nearly $2.6 trillion of unfunded infrastructure needs that remain outstanding.
