Dan Romito

Dan Romito is a consulting partner at Pickering Energy Partners, where he focuses on quantitative ESG strategy and implementation. Over the course of his career, Dan has advised several hundred private companies, public issuers, and asset managers on how to optimize capital deployment strategies and employ ESG-related directives. A substantial portion of his experience has centered on helping the Energy, Industrial, Materials, and Utility sectors navigate ESG-focused data providers, frameworks, disclosures, and the corresponding investor landscape. His experience and research on ESG, Index/ETF Ownership, and Shareholder Activism has been featured in a variety of global periodicals, including Harvard Business Review, the Harvard Law School Forum on Corporate Governance, CNBC, Bloomberg, Global Investor magazine, and IR Magazine. Prior to Pickering, Dan spent several years at Nasdaq, where he specialized in investor analytics, issuer technology solutions, and ESG implementation. During his tenure at Nasdaq as the Global Head of Investor Analytics, he developed several key technology solutions and services under Nasdaq’s Corporate Platform’s repertoire, including their investor behavioral analytics platform, the ESG Advisory Service, the Insight360 Analytics module, the Activist Diagnostic, Capital Deployment Scenario Analysis, and the Small Cap Investor Targeting Service. Dan received his B.A. degree from the University of Chicago and his MBA in Finance from DePaul University. He is a board member on the Energy ESG Council and is a professor at Marquette University, where he teaches ESG implementation, strategy, and certification.

Dr. Samantha Montano

Dr. Samantha Montano became interested in disasters following a trip to New Orleans immediately following Hurricane Katrina and the Levee Failure. She spent years in New Orleans working with various nonprofits on recovery efforts related to both Katrina and the BP Oil Disaster in 2010.

Her educational background includes a B.S. in Psychology from Loyola University New Orleans and an M.S. and Ph.D. in Emergency Management from North Dakota State University.

She is currently an assistant professor of emergency management at Massachusetts Maritime Academy. She has taught courses on disaster preparedness, response, recovery, and mitigation, vulnerable populations in disaster, the political and legal foundations of emergency management, disaster communications, and voluntary organizations active in disaster.

She is also the co-founder of the Center for Climate Adaptation Research.

Jeffery Timlin

Jeff is a Principal and Managing Director of the firm and a member of the Investment Committee. He serves as a Portfolio Manager for the tax-exempt fixed income strategies. He began his career in 1997 as a Fixed Income Associate Trader with MFS Investment Management in Boston. He was also a former Client Account Manager with Brown Brothers Harriman & Co. in Boston. Jeff received his B.S. in Business Administration from Villanova University, is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and member of the CFA Institute, and is a Chartered Market Technician (CMT). He is also a member of the Market Technicians Association, the National Federation of Municipal Analysts and the Southern Municipal Finance Society.

Bob Moser

Bob serves as Senior Vice President, National Sales Director at Sage. Bob began his investment career in 2000 as a Regional Sales Director at The Hartford. Later, he served as a Senior Advisor Consultant and Vice President at OppenheimerFunds. Bob received a B.S. degree in Marketing from Arizona State University. He has the CIMA® designation bestowed by the Investment Management Consultants Association® for his study at the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, he holds the Certified Retirement Planning Consultant designation from the College for Financial Planning.

Lily Tu

Lily serves as the Vice President of Institutional Business Development and Consultant Relations. Lily began her career in 2005 with Goldman Sachs Wealth Management. Later, she worked for the top woman producer team ranked by Forbes and Barron’s at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management and J.P. Morgan Securities. She successfully managed a client focused service team responsible for investment portfolio construction, asset allocation, and market research communications. Lily received her B.S. in Management Science and Information Systems as Valedictorian of her major from Rutgers University.
